"Knobby Sea Star on Reef"

On a steep reef wall, a knobby starfish crawls through a profusion of reef animals growing in the nutrient-rich waters of the Maricaban Island, Philippines. Gingerly and gently it positions its five arms among the reef in an attempt to minimize its intrusion.

Robert Yin has taken underwater photography from a hobby to a life-long professional career with extensive publication in books and magazines. His most recent projects include a series of twenty children's books "Marine Life for Young Readers" published by Dominie Press.
